Fun and informal event to celebrate Open Source at UCSC

5:00 – Event Starts / Food and socializing

5:45 – Welcome by the UCSC Open Source Program Office

6:00 – Lightning Introductions with breaks for Q&A

6:40 - Raffle! (You must register to be included in the raffle and be present to claim the prize)

7:00 - Event closes

Who should come

Anyone from the UCSC community excited about working in Open Source. This includes:

• Students interested and new to Open Source but wanting to learn more about how to get involved and build important skills
• Students and researchers already working on projects and wanting to know more about on-campus support
• Researchers interested in how to grow their OS communities and build sustainable ecosysystems
