Updates from OSRE 2026 Contributors

We are excited to share the progress of the 2026 cohort of the Open Source Research Experience (OSRE) program, which includes participants in the Summer of Reproducibility (SoR) and Google Summer of Code (GSoC).

As part of the OSRE program, participants are required to post blogs to the program website three times during their summer program: an introductory blog to introduce their project, a mid-point blog about the status of the project, and a final blog at the completion of the program.

Follow along this summer as contributors share progress updates on their projects via the OSRE blog. Shout out to all the mentors who are generously sharing their time and expertise to guide the next generation of open source researchers.
